Mr. AKM Jashim Uddin started his career with ADAB from 10th June 2014. Before joining ADAB, he works in different development sector in Bangladesh. He started his career with development works with BRAC in 1987 and then he joined with ISDE Chittagong where he was the Coordinator. He worked with Sagarika Somaj Unnyan Sangstha (SSUS) as chief coordinator. In his role he was responsible for overall activities of the SSUS.

He worked with Char Development and Settlement Project (CDSP), a bi lateral project of the government of Bangladesh and the Royal Netherlands Embassy. For the last 10 years, he was involved with capacity development of local government institutions under LGED, the projects supported by the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. He has substantial knowledge in advocacy, coordination and working with civil society organizations.
